Carol Hughes, LMHC

I consider myself lucky to have lived and worked in several states over the past 30 years.  My work and play have offered me the chance to meet incredible people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures and has fostered a sense of appreciation for laughter, diversity, and intense curiosity about the triumphs and struggles of others and how those can be utilized to foster resilience.

My education and professional training have been focused in the fields of education, social justice ministry and mental healthcare.  I have learned so much from the various settings in which I have trained and worked including public schools, childcare facilities, hospitals, churches, college campuses, domestic violence shelters, community mental health centers and now in private practice. The bravery and vulnerability of so many I have connected with along the way has inspired me to keep pushing and learning healthier ways to connect with others.

I look forward to meeting you and working along with you to create a connection that helps foster a greater sense of peace and healing on your journey.
